On 6 July opened an exhibition of people’s artist Alexander Bourganov’s works “White Angel” in the Sergiyev Posad History and Art Museum-Reserve the “Stable yard” museum complex.
In the open air are exhibited the works, executed in surrealist and mystical style. Among them are the sculptures “Throne”, “Walking through the museum”, “White angel”, composition “Angels” – author’s copies of the bas-reliefs for the sculptural decoration of Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Traditional themes and images of the orthodox culture are presented on the exhibition in the contemporary view.
The exhibition is interesting not only by its works, but also by the fact that one of the rules of this exhibition is “Touching the exhibits…. is allowed”.
The organizers prepared not a simple opening, but a festive action with several art areas for every taste. As participants and guests were invited local creative young people, creating avant-garde and classical art. They made cultural reality before the invited spectators’ eyes.
In the performance took part: ballroom couple from TSK “Rainbow” of the Culture Palace named after Gagarin – Dmitry Stebakov and Ksenia Tarzhimanova (trainer Rodion Chernyaev), a group of “YAKI”, Creative Union “Kvadrat”, the representatives of the gallery “Art-BAZA” Igor and Denis Fedosenko, who drew in the style of street art and cultural community.
The exhibition is open from 6 July to 31 August 2016.
